A gorgeous lightweight quilt with a beautiful, yet unusual, geometric design made with pieced squares, themselves in geometric prints,. with a white ground. The quilt is completely hand stitched in a running diamond stitch. It is bordered and interspersed with a. sweet blue and white floral cotton and has a white edging. The back is white. This quilt has a lovely, crisp and organized look and it likely dates to the very early 20th Century when these types of blue and white geometrical cottons were commonly used in quilts.
The condition is excellent. It has been hand laundered.
