Up for sale is this Fine User 19th Century W. Greaves & Son 16\" Sliding Filletster Jack Inv#HC189This is marked on toe and heel with owners name W. B. Sayer. The tote has a chip off tip. This plane was found in a tool chest from a 19th century woodworker from Warwick, NJ. The heavy duty cutter is marked W, Greaves & ons Warranted Cast Steel and it measures 6\" x 2-1/4\". It has some pitting, dings, rust and could use sharpening. The plane has typical scars, hairlines behind cutter, nose & heel and dings, the tote has a nick at tip.
