Not totally sure of the year, just from my research I've only found one other set on pintrest..these are in lovely condition with just a few specks of missing paint. One small flaw (hole) on the girls hair covering. (See last pic) Please see all photos as this is part of the listing detail and for condition issues.

This vintage pair of Polynesian Dancers from Universal Statuary is a great addition to any collection. The figurines are made of beige chalkware and have a beautiful all-over pattern. They were handmade in 1955 and have a mid 20th-century style.

The figurines each have a height of 10½" and their width varies. They come in a pack of two and have not been signed. The material used to make them is chalk and they have a semi-gloss finish. The figurines are perfect for all occasions and have features of speckled gold paint. The dancers are great for decorating your home and are an original from the 1950s.
