Did you have one of these book racks on your desk, perhaps holding a dictionary, a thesaurus and current textbooks or a novel for a rare idle hour? This vintage piece is still very sturdy and ready to hold books or act as a stand to showcase cherished antiques.
It is wood, probably oak, screwed together and painted with white and gold enamel paints. The Bryn Mawr crest and motto \"Veritatem Dilexi\" are on both ends. It is 12\" long x 4.5\" wide x 7\" high. It has been lightly washed but not scrubbed. The 10.5\" gold shelf shows signs of books removed and replaced. My house is pet free and smoke free. Questions are quickly and cheerfully answered.
