This is a nice vintage possibly antique Chinese framed textile of figures in a landscape. It is titled on the back Mandarin Life along with a brief history. It states, MANDARIN LIFE - is woven in a tight weave which was placed on ancestor tables. The blue and orange textile matches our collection perfectly and was given to the house by Mrs. Dorothy Louisa Cameron, the widow of actor Rod Cameron and daughter of an English diplomat in Shangai in the first part of this century. This is a turn-of-the-20th Century Chinese textile. In pretty good condition as the pics show with no real signs of wear and it comes exactly as shown. The frame measures 26 1/2" x 27 1/2" and the textile size that's seen is 18 1/4" x 19 1/4"Keep in mind the shipping price also covers handling fees, packaging materials & time, not just postage.
