This is a life-size realistic bust of President Donald Trump. I shaped this by hand from PLA and hard wax, and finished it in aged bronze acrylic. It is finished with museum-grade hard wax, which is rock hard and waterproof. It is polished to a bronze finish.My goal with this project was to precisely mimic aged bronze. I used reference aged bronze next to me, and applied the layers in a manner that it would be indistinguishable from the real thing. I think I got it. The real thing in metal would weigh 175 lbs., and would be so heavy I could never display it safely, let alone mail it.This is 18" tall, and is sized precisely to a human head. It weighs 51 ounces, or about 3.2 lbs. It has a felt bottom for display without scratching the surface.Note that this is not a figurine. This thing is big. It is a life-size human head and upper torso, and on the scale you see in a museum. I put my hands in some of the photos, and a beer can, so you can see what scale you're dealing with.This took me about a month to make, and about a week to apply the no fewer than 12 layers of waterproof bronzing acrylics to achieve the aged bronze with oxidized slight green effect.
