Up for sale is a rare pair of bookends featuring Scotty Dogs which are standing on their hind paws and sitting on Art Deco style bases. These wonderful bookends were produced by the Greist company in the late 1920\'s or 1930\'s. I believe that the company was operating in New Haven Conn. at that time producing lamps and bookends. They are made of some type of heavy metal which is non-magnetic. The bases are painted black and the dogs have a gold finish to them. Together they weigh about 3 pounds 12 ounces. Each bookend has a felt bottom and does not bear the original \"Genuine Greist Product\" badge. They may have had the felt replaced at some point in time. There is some wear to these bookends so please see all of the photos for more detailed size and condition. Quite a rare and wonderful pair of bookends featuring adorable Scotty Dogs in the Art Deco style!Washed per \'s standards
